Disability Inclusion Training for All Employees and Volunteers
This training is available as a one-hour session and is for all employees and volunteers. The training gives an overview of disabilities and disability etiquette, and covers how to effectively communicate, engage, and interact with all employees, volunteers, and customers.
In this training, participants will:
- Learn how fear and stigma impacts how we interact with people with disabilities
- Gain a greater understanding of disability inclusion and the impact each employee has in creating a respectful workplace
- Gain knowledge of natural supports and communication strategies that work for everyone
- Learn disability etiquette and best practices when interacting with people with disabilities
